Safe Training

Overview

After having read this document you will understand how we plan on making your visit to the centre as safe as possible. You will also understand the procedures that are in place to be followed during your visit.

Your safety

we strongly advise you to travel with someone, compliant with government guidance, who may be able to assist you should you require it. We will be unable to offer you any assistance and comply with the 2m distancing.

Before you leave to visit the centre

It goes without saying that you and the other member of your party should be healthy and not exhibiting any signs of COVID-19.

Leave in time to arrive as per our schedule below.

Make sure you have sufficient supplies of hand washing / sanitising equipment with you.

Please make sure you have your own hoof pick as you will be required to use this before leaving the arena.

Limited Services & Spaces

Please strictly limit yourself to the car park and the arena you have hired. The toilet facilities are not for public use. Do not enter any other part of the site. Do not touch our equipment.

Arrival

• Arrive 30 minutes before your allotted time
• Park in the Lorry Park and not less than 10m from the nearest vehicle
• Be mounted and ready to go at your allotted start time.
• Be observant of others at the centre
• The indoor school door will be opened and closed for you. If it is closed you must stay away
• At your time and when the door is open enter the arena. Do not be late as your lesson time will start and end at the allotted time
• At all times maintain a safe distance from the trainer
• The person assisting you must walk directly the gallery and sit in there

End of Training

• Pick your horses feet out with your own hoof pick
• Place your horse and the lorry and leave within 45 minutes of the end of your session
• At no time should you tie your horse to the side of the lorry
• At no time should you use our equipment to skip your lorry out
