Times Requests for Dressage

Ok, so we love to try and help you out as much as possible is the most important thing to say!

It is, however, also important to point out that the show has to work for us (and thus the vast majority of the competitors in that show). We know that people have busy lives but it is NOT normally possible to schedule the times around your specific requirements. We will also try to keep the amount of time between two tests to a reasonable minimum - however - we can not and will not offer refunds because you don't want to wait! 

What we can do

If you have just one entry in the show and require an early or late time, go ahead and put that on your entry and we will do our very best to accommodate you with that.

What we can't do

Give you preferential treatment if you are in multiple classes so please don't ask us (and expect us to!) put you last in your first class and first in your next one!

We are also not mind readers. We don't know if you are travelling with someone, don't necessarily know that rider "x" is your brother, sister, wife, husband or trainer. If you don't tell us these things then you can not expect us to take this into account. That is why there is a notes section for each and every class entry you make.

How we work the times

1. People with multiple horses in the same class
2. People with multiple entries where there is more than 1 class between them
3. People with multiple entries
4. People with just one entry but a request
5. Everyone else

So the long and the short of it is that you will be given a fair time based on the need to run the event smoothly.

Our Aims

We like to try and give you around 30 - 45 mins between rides as a minimum, but this is obviously not always possible.

We aim to allow at least 30 minutes if you are on the same horse and 45 minutes if you have different horses. We may well shorten this time for your second classes on the basis that your horses are already worked in once that day.

We reserve the right to run classes out of order or indeed to split classes if that is what is required to give everyone a reasonable amount of time between horses.

Times are hard to do and keep everyone happy!

Requests are getting wilder - literally!

"I would like to go first in the x class but only if that is after 10am, otherwise I need to be near to x because we are travelling together."

That's not as crazy as it sounds - so PLEASE keep in mind we will do our best to be fair to as many people as possible - but it is a competition after all.
